You need to milk everything to get the most RP out of SACF. Both indulge yourself in the most role play as possible and create the most role play as possible for others. Create the most interactions and scenarios as possible. The more people involved, the better. A list of examples will be enough to give you the right idea:

Dealing drugs? Don't just pass the customer the dope right after he gets you paid. Alternatives? Role play a dealer who uses drugs. Role play transferring the heroin from balloons to smaller piles and put them in papers or caps. Have someone help you do that while you both chill in the cell and get high. Get a youngster or someone up-and-coming who's making his bones to do the drop to your customer. Make him keister it and deliver it to the yard/building. Make him take the risk and avoid the patdowns. Give the customer the opportunity to get the dope on credit if he doesn't have the money. Keep tabs on him throughout the week while he's in debt. Put pressure on him. Get him stabbed if he can't pay you.

Is there a lockdown? Don't just walk in your cell and log out. Alternatives? Ask your cellmate to log-in and role play it. Talk to each other and exercise. Take a bird bath. Take turns looking through the window. Send kites to the cell of other white inmates. Write each other messages to figure out why you're locked down. Make plans for what to do after the lockdown. Ask them to send you commissary/dope. Arrange sending kites to the SHU and A2 even if no one is there. Role-play-wise, inmates are still there and they need to be in the loop.

Are you stuck at the table in a boring conversation? Alternatives? Play card games like pinochle and gamble for commissary. Take whoever's there to your cell and have a get-together with spread while blasting outlaw music. Hit a cell and tattoo someone or get tattooed. Exercise in a duo and hit some burpees in the corner of the dayroom with your workout partner. Check on new inmates you haven't met. Role play a phone call with an associate/relative or call a player on the outside. Hang in your cell and get high.

Is someone from your race getting stabbed? Don't just send one guy there to stab him and be done with it. Alternatives? Have the shotcaller/rep talk to two people designated to handle it as a two-on-one removal. Have someone deliver the shank to them or get them to make a shank. Talk to the other races and let them know you're handling a removal on X day. Talk to the drug dealers and let them know not to sell the targeted person any dope until the removal. Send someone to keep watch on the torpedos and make sure they handle it correctly. Write a plug for the torpedos that they'll send to the rep in the shoe. Don't just kill the lames, let them survive, so they can go to protective custody, and prison staff will have a victim to interact with.

Is your character's entire prison existence consisting of just shaking hands and staying at the table? Alternatives? Make him be passionate about something. Start using dope and support the local drug scene. Role play being tight on money but always somehow making it. Get at the Mexicans if none of the Whites have dope. Get a job in prison and build a hustle around it. Be a porter and deliver kites between buildings. Work in the kitchen and get fruit for pruno. Even if there's no hustle, just working the job creates role play for you. Start slinging ink and tattoo other inmates. Make pruno for yourself because you're a wino that needs a drink. Talk to the reps and check paperwork of new arrivals. Uphold the rules, school people, and help people out. Try smuggling in contraband with the help of relatives in a visit or with the help of corrupt staff.

Are you stuck on the yard doing nothing? Go to the exercise bars and use them. Role play exercising with a workout partner or in a group of four. You exercise every day multiple times, so don't be like "this is my first time today". Walk the track and talk prison politics with your road dawg. Take contraband to the yard and hand it out. Bury a shank when the yard is busy and there's COs out there, not when the server is empty. Take kites to the yard and deliver them. Play handball at the court. Gamble at the table playing pinochle. Get at other races to politic or resolve conflicts. Head back inside if no meaningful role play is being done on the yard.

Role play a hierarchy within the white car, not just one group with one leader, and the rest being follower sheep. Politic around your car. Discuss gangs and local business. Who the rep for your county/area will be. Be the rep for LS/So San. Be the rep for Nor San. Handle people from your county/area. Give hard 23s to people that mess up. Talk to the white car rep to keep him in the loop. Talk with him about removals. Be someone with a story, morals, and ambition, don't be a nobody who needs to be told what to do every second he's online.

Did you meet someone new who won't be in prison after a few days when his sentence runs out? And you'll never hear from him again? No. Get tight with him. Get his contact info for the outside. Involve him as an associate with your gang. Have him send you money or deal dope for you or the gang. Role play around contraband cellphones to keep in contact with him. Send other released members to his address. Keep in contact with him.

Group circlejerks in prison is where role play goes to die. I've seen it happen many times. Between six to ten people come online. They all form a big circle or stand around the table. A weird ten-way conversation happens, usually nothing interesting. No one leaves the group, because that's where everyone else is, so it's like a trap where you fall into, until you get bored.

You should aim to separate yourself from the group and go do your own thing. Ask someone to join you or follow someone who goes somewhere alone.

Bust a spread in your cell and hang with your bunkie or invite someone else. Start a tattoo session, and blast someone with ink, or get yourself tatted up. Go do exercises somewhere in the dayroom. Go on the side and have a more personal conversation with someone. Go do drugs in your cell or go cop a fix. Go do your work assignment (PM a CO if necessary for support). Go buy commissary. Clean your cell, organize you cell, or sort the commissary you just bought. Take a few guys from your county/gang to the side and talk some politics. Gamble or play cards with one-two-three other people. Role play a phone call or call someone on the outside—have someone watch your back. Split on smaller groups. Create role play for others.

Be proactive. Only do the circle jerks if there's a reason to. Or if organic/interesting/funny conversation is happening. Otherwise 9 times out of 10, the role play doesn't lead anywhere.
